OK, so, I realise this is gonna cop a lot of "I bought 5 posts" and such haha

They're not for everyone but, for those that have previously looked at these but didn't get them due to international shipping, they've now launched in Australia. Before launching here, these were very expensive to ship in, a 4 seaters was around $15k landed in Aus.

Row One and Manhattan seats are around the same price $9000-$14,000 found locally in Australia and these are significantly better quality, much higher grade leather, better motors and a nicer chair overall. Shipping is also not long, 2 weeks! For a review, here's an Aussie who got some a while back

    I don’t know about this particular brand as I’m not in the market to buy.
    But there’s nothing wrong with buying good quality.
    Personally my computer desk chair and lounge room suite were bought in 2000, used daily and look and feel better then almost anything I’ve sat on at friends and family’s houses.
    At the time it cost a nice chunk, but nothings broken /worn out or needed replacement - pre electronics.

      The prices seems good for full leather, $3200 for 4 seater with electric recliners. Comes in 3 seater version but no price online.

      These guys are really cheap for that. You could get full leather for a 3 seater that’s really comfortable for 1500 or so.

      I have got 2 lounges from these guys and really happy. Know quite a few people who grabbed others and they are happy with them as well.

      You can also custom build for your space with no added cost.

        A full leather 3 seater for 1500 is going to be cheap shitty foam that falls apart within a few years. And is 100% spray painted buffalo hide. It'll be sweaty as all hell and a very rough texture closer to vinyl than actual leather.

        You can cheap out on things. Don't scrimp on anything that sits between you and the ground. Mattress, shoes, chairs.

          Have 2x lounges of their recliner chairs with leather. One model I think has been about 8 years now. Still works well but I have noticed one of the chairs something is a tiny bit off but to be honest it was caused by my kids jumping around like maniacs on it so I am not going to hold that against it as I doubt anything could have withstood that unscathed and well it still is fine just when you sit on it it makes a noise or maybe that's my aging bones :D.

          The other one has been going for 5 or so years absolutely no issues. Still really comfortable and still happy with it.

          Know multiple people who have sat on my chairs, specifically asked where I got them from and proceeded to buy a range of models from there. Everyone is really happy with them. Not going to say they are going to compete with a 5000 dollar set of chairs but they are good value and comfortable.

    Glad to see there are now more options in the 3 Seat, Straight Row with the middle having both arms and electric recline. I am leaning towards the Manhattan New Yorker Pro range but I wish all these seating options both had dimmable LED lighting and a memory function as Ive seen on some of the USA HT seating made by RowOne-

    Napa leather is good built in controls will be old next year.. Quality may be great but there is such a thing as over capitalizing but of late I am begining to realise lots of Ozb users are rich and want to get rid of their abundant money soon though why are they on this site is a mystery. Well good for you OP no doubt these are great chairs but you would not believe me if I said they are too expensive for what they are shockingly even at this price!! Not to mention the diamond pattern back is already dated IMHO of course but by all means you earned it you spend it :-D

      I believe they were founded in Italy, but then relocated to Toronto and now made there.

      This brand is extremely popular with the north american home theatre scene.

        Are they made in Canada though?
        The boxes supplied to Tony James in his Build Montages' video at 1.23 say "Made in China" on them, and at 1:37 say "Ship to Canada", so in fact they may be made in China to Valencia's design.

          Seems you may be correct. Italian leather, designed in Canada, but built in china. Hard to tell though if that's just specific parts like the mechanism and then the leatherwork is done back at base, but I'd expect if it was they'd make it clear that it's made in Canada, which they haven't. So probably built entirely in China

      A lot of these types of chairs you can customise them however you want. If you want double arm rest then get it. If you want no arm rest between so you can snuggle, then get that. Get the one with the fold down console and you can have a table between you and the missus.

    I have a fully functional home theatre and never ever have I sat in there and missed Napa leather chairs or a drink holder and I sit there every evening barring weekends.. when we have people over no one sits in my home theatre and when its a boys night out they dont really care ..Id rather spend the money on a decent image and sound but that is just me because I do not have all that much money so to each their own I suppose but anyway you look at it I am struggling to see a bargain here
