Looking to build the cheapest/budget gaming PC and would like it to run on maximum settings. I mainly play dota and csgo. i don't play any of those other games like Metro Exodus or other graphically demanding games.
my ancient computer is dying and i need to replace it asap. haven't built a computer in forever, i need some recommendations on stores, parts, deals, etc….
Just grab the cheapest 4 core cpu and motherboard combo you can find, 2x4gb of ram, a 240/256gb ssd and a gt 1030.
Especially in this current market that will be your best bet. Something like a core i3 10100F offers really good performance for the money when compared to AMD.
If you want to play a graphically demanding game besides Dota or CSGO then you can just grab an extra 8gb and a better gpu.
Rx580 + Ryzen 3 1600AF on a B450 board. You'll be able to play games like csgo on max settings whilst leaving you room to upgrade. If you can find an old case and some fans or even an old psu you'll probably get away with the whole build being under $700.
A solid notebook with a reasonable GPU.
HDMI cable into your existing screen, and connect external keyboard and mouse…
Off you go!
Why bother buying a new PC if a reasonable notebook nowadays will cover it for you. Plus you get the bonus of taken the NB on a plane or in the car when travelling (in future)…
Otherwise a mid-range i5 with a mid-range nVidia GTX GPU.
