How to connect Anker Soundcore Boost Bluetooth Speaker to Samsung Smart TV?

I have Samsung UA32H5500AW 32" 81cm Full HD Smart LED LCD TV and trying to connect latest speaker I bought Anker Soundcore Boost Bluetooth Speaker but no luck yet…

On web, it shows from Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output. If the option Bluetooth Speaker List appears, then your TV supports Bluetooth but I cannot find this option on my Samsung UA32H5500AW.

I thought if TV came with a Smart Remote, it supports Bluetooth - that's how the Smart Remote pairs to the TV but how do I pair my bluetooth speaker in my setup🤔

Appreciate any help here …

    ???

    • Nopes, that's not applicable for Samsung UA32H5500AW model.

There is no "SoundShare Settings" option in "Speaker Settings"

      • Just use a cable then.
        Maybe that TV isn't BT enabled. I don't know…

  • What i think you need is a bluetooth transmitter

    TV->3.5mm cable->bluetooth transmitter>bluetooth signal>bluetooth speaker

  • optical cable as a fallback option

  • Your TV does not have built-in bluetooth and your smart remote does not pair via bluetooth. Your assumption around your smart remote (or any other smart remotes) pairing via bluetooth is incorrect.

Your best bet would be as mentioned above, get a bluetooth dongle.

    • Thanks 👍
      Any recommendations for bluetooth dongle?

      • Just get one off ebay for around $6 (like this one - I am assuming you have a free usb port on your TV?)

Or if you want it sooner, see if you can find one in Officeworks (due to Sydney lockdown), but you will pay more for it.

        • Yep, usb port available

        • Error how would a Bluetooth receiver helps OP? Wouldn't OP need a Bluetooth audio transmitter?

          Like this (never used myself)

That's not going to work as the tv doesn't have USB drivers like a computer to use, only way would be 3.5mm if the tv has it to a transmitter..

Op if your tv has a 3.5mm this will be your best bet https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/comsol-blu…

But be careful they could be audio delays and audio not synching up if possible I would just 3.5 to 3.5 cable but

The guys listing USB dongles won't work as it's not a PC and TVs don't support these devices unless it's a full android tv like certain Sony TV's

    • thank you
