Found this blaster going for half price at Big W, seems like a good deal at this price point. As far as I know this is the only blaster to have the 50 round drum in it. Don't forget to grab four D batteries to run this thing.
Got one last year when it was half price at bigw, had a lot of fun but reloading is a real pain:D
Reloading + picking up the bullets.
I've got a few motorised mag fed guns that are really cool for what they are, but when I'm at war with my kids the best guns are the single shot ones that you can just push a dart in the front, cock back and let rip. There is always a dart within reach and I think the effective rate of fire with these is actually higher than pulling out a mag and reloading that. Games flow a lot better using these than the more complicated guns.
That said, nothing really compare to the coolness of the stampede running the on 3S.
Nothing has ever topped the Stampede for me. Just the sound alone is a winner. We had a dozen of them firing in an office tournament, it was awesome.
@Tihocan: Yessss we have a few modded stampedes at home, none of that flywheel stuff, just awesome bolt action and kickback!! I reckon the stampede was one of the last great non-flywheel full auto blasters.
