AliExpress Cancelled order but nothing happening

HI All

A quick one on my Dealing with AliExpress

So back in Early July (5th July to be exact), I order 2 items from AliExpress (From Two different stores)
I was aware that Ali Express can sometimes take a very long time to deliver, but to my surprise, one of the items arrived in less than 2 weeks.

However I checked my other items and saw something strange.

Here is a breakdown of the tracking

Cancelled
Cancelled by seller
2021-07-08 09:16

Delivering
Unsuccessful parcel pickup attempt
2021-07-08 09:16
[China]Parcel ready for dispatch

SO essentially it says it was attempted to deliver 2 days after ordering and was then cancelled.
I contacted the seller via their online chat and asked about what was happening, and the only answer was “OK,We'll dispose!”
I asked again, what does that mean and they just said the same answer (probably a bot)
Anyway, I have to wait until 2021-09-20 to open a dispute,
In the end I just ordered the product from another store and they seemed more responsive.
So my question is “Is this a common feature of Aliexpress” or did I just get a dodgy seller

    That says attempted collection, not attempted delivery.

    You got a dodgy seller. Basically they had no stock or they figured it was going to cost more than they expected to ship the product to you. Take a screenshot of that tracking and upload it as evidence when you file a dispute.

    Also try to avoid sellers with 95% or less feedback.
