I was recently looking for a closer parcel locker location and saw that AusPost can now also use the existing lockers at 7-Eleven.
Appears to have started earlier this month.

the delivery person left it on the doorstep and it got wet, so was really hard to read. There was a number you call, and they can remotely unlock it but took AGES to get through to them (was standing in 7-11 like an idiot)
Hmm, 7-Elevens have been getting rid of their lockers in Sydney CBD. There's plenty convenient AusPost lockers around though so hope that isn't a permanent change but just adding more optional capacity.
There were lockers at the 7/11 servo near my for a while then they got discontinued (possibly even removed, but I don't remember for sure). But I also just saw they are now a delivery option.
Already have a PO Box which can hold deliveries for me anyway so debatable on how useful the 7/11 would be, but nice to have options.

Another petrol chain/convenience store chain. Most are attached to petrol stations in Australia, however cities (but not Darwin it seems) have standalone convenience stores. The 7-Eleven convenience stores in Japan are amazing compared to the ones here.
a recent parcel got sent to my local 7-11 earlier this week. The stupid thing was that you have to receive a SMS code to unlock the locker, but for some reason, i couldn't receive it
