Great price on this pressure washer which includes a snow cannon, as advertised in their latest catalogue.
Their normal RRP is $169, as I bought one myself when Repco had 20% off and paid $135.20. Works a treat with the snow cannon on my car.
Other people have said the Ryobi one (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/644276) is a better investment with the extra warranty, but each to their own. The Ryobi one doesn't have a snow cannon though.
@mickyb80: Had a leak exact same spot. Exchanged and the reel was stuck on the 2nd one. Took it back for a refund as I doubt these things will last the distance. At least with karcher/gerni you get a 5yr warranty so safer bet
@gimme: Yeah, thinking the same. It's a pretty brittle part in a key area that would/is easily stressed.
If the second is rat5#17, I'll grab the coin and go buy another. I'm rather surprised that the connector isn't brass or some other metal, considering the location.
Perhaps a Karcher, Gerni or other will have interchangeable parts. Let's see how the second one goes! Thanks for the note!

Just waiting for a replacement to arrive.
Both shop staff were surprised that it was just a nylon insert/sleeve inside of the hose. Not great. Will try to retro a hose clip or something on the next one just to reinforce it.
