Hi All,
With Father’s Day approaching, are there any good bargains for a reliable electric shaver around $100 ?
I had a Philips shaver, it did an okay job but the battery didn’t even last for 1 year. I can’t even do one shave after 4-6 hours charging. Believe me, I don’t have much facial hair…
It would be appreciated if anyone can share some good experience with a reliable electric shaver!
Many Thanks!!
Any Recommendations on Electric Shaver

Thanks for your reply. I actually don’t know much about many different kinds? To me I only know one is electric shaver and one is not electric…
What kind of battery does Philips 7000 have? Is the battery still good after a few years?
Many different styles and types that serve the same purpose (to cut hair) but all in a different way with pros and cons each.

Some people prefer some over others and it depends what hair you have & want (thick, long beard, just to keep a stubble, goatee, clean shave etc).
May be worth delving into some online research about different types.
Check with someone like shaver shop, they probably have some ideas. For me, electric shaves are sux, even if its $400. Apparently its all depend on the person.
Unless you're rocking stubble or a beard, DE shaving is the way to go.
I went with a Panasonic 4 Blade years ago. Was about $700 or $800 back in the day. Think they are now up to 5 blade versions.
Still working well - when I use it to shave my neck. Doesn't get any more use beyond that now. Haven't had a clear shave in about 10 yrs!Think I recall being told by a few people, if you go with the rotary, your hair will grow a certain way, as it will with the straight shavers. Once you go with one, the other doesn't always work so well once your hair grows in that manner. Stuffed if I know if there is truth to this, but I recommend the Panasonic range!
Blades last ages too!
I'd imagine the 3 black sub $200 units would be great too!

Thanks for all the replies and information.
I think I might give this Panasonic 3 blade a try, it’s on special at Shaver Shop. Hopefully it will last me at least a good 3-5 years…

What kind of electric shaver are you after? Philips Series 7000 coupled with a OneBlade unit for precision are my go-to and regularly discounted on Amazon.
