Absolutely fantastic game for all ages, great graphics, makes great use of the ps5 specs, and keeps you wanting to just play just that little bit longer each time.
Finished it recently and looking forwards to playing new game + soon.

    Wow… What a bargain…

  • Must buy 10

I've pre-ordered a PS5 for my son for Xmas but he'll be playing the PS Plus Collection if these are considered bargain prices.

  • +5

At least you can resell it after you're finished with it. A moment of silence for Digital Edition owners.

      This.

The economics are in the secondhand market. I bought for $70 a few weeks after release and resold for <$10 profit.

      • +6

Should have bought a million copies, you'd have 9 million extra dollars right now.

        • Arbitrage 😅

        • Will you be my investment advisor?

  • +2

    Is this a joke

  • +2

Thanks Op. Don’t think I’ve ever paid $94 for a
    game before…😅

I bought Super Street fighter 2 Turbo (SNES) from Kmart in 1996 for 129.90. (well my parents did)

Trust me, games have gone way cheaper.

That was RRP back then for most AAA games.

F-Zero (SNES) was 99.90 in 1992 at kmart.

I’ll hit the button when it reaches $20. I might be waiting a while…

    • +2

Or free on the ps plus collection when ps6 comes out..👌

    • +1

personally I'm expecting it to be one of the free PS5 games on PS+ leading up to Christmas.. there's not that many PS5 exclusives, it's Sony owned and it'd be a big incentive for holiday sales.

      • Is there gonna be excess supply by Christmas?

  • Once again, will bite when it comes down to $40 or so.

That being said, it's all about appetite and preferences. I didn't have any issue putting down $80 for Ghost of Tsushima DC :P.

    • +1

Yeah but this is just a R&C game, honestly if it was a 3rd party title I don't think it would get half as much hype.

  • +1

$94 is almost 6 months of GamePass Ultimate.

    • +2

And about zero R&C. Wish people will stop using this comparison like it means something.

Gamepass still fantastic value, not going to deny.

  • +1

    Ript a fart.

  • Great game, true next gen experience.

  • +2

Sony loves milking their fanbase. What a joke.

  • +2

And we thought $60 for a single game was a lot a few years ago… oh how naive we were.

  • This or 6 months game pass..

  • Definitely buy second hand and sell. I liked this game but finished it in a weekend.

  • +2

One of my favorite series, but there is no way in hell im paying anything over $60 for any new release games. Looking at how long it takes to finish this game I'd probably pay about 40 max.

  • +3

So hard to accept these prices, PS games used to drop like a rock after like 6 months or so. Idk if that will be the case anymore, I remember buying Spider-man a few months after release for $30 with 3 months of stan! God of war on release for like $50 and the price dropped so fast on that even tho its a 10/10 game. Anyways Psychonauts 2 is coming out on the 25Th on gamepass and my ps5 collection is 0.

    • With backwards compatibility I’ve got such a huge backlog of games waiting to be played I’m happy to wait!
