I have a project I'm working on with a Raspberry Pi. I really don't want to get to bogged down in configuration etc, just want to get it up and running so I can focus on other tasks. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Background:
The project is a pigeon shooer.
I like to feed wild birds at my home but lately pigoens have been coming along and vacuuming up all the seed leaving little left for the lorikeets and other natives.
Basically it uses AI to detect a pigeon and when it does starts a little stepper motor to wave a stick covered in streamers at it (and perhaps beeps a beeper and flashes some lights). This is all imminently possible with a Ras Pi 4. The AI is quite demanding on the device but not impossible.
Anyhow the environment won't be ideal but the camera should have reasonably good resolution and be pretty reliable.

What OS will you be running? I guess driver compatibility plays a big part.
