    Ummm… What is this?

    • +1

      "Smart modular light panels" apparently.

I have no idea what these things are.

    • +8

You install them in your garden and they attract bees. True story. No need to google. You're welcome

      • I've found flowering plants and trees work well as we'll….

help! my nanoleaves got eaten by worms!

Failing to understand the enthusiasm for these.
    Air-fryers are today's bread-makers.
    Nanoleaf panels are tomorrow's air-fryers.

    • +4

At least airfryers can make you fat…these just make you broke & look like a wnkr.

    • Nanoleaf panels and breadmakers are tomorrows hard rubbish. Air-fryers are the business

      • I airfry my bacon now. It’s great.

        • +1

          Air fryer pork belly FTW!

      • +3

air dryers are just (small) fan forced ovens.

next gen is battery powered pocket ovens for fresh bacon on the go!

It was called the Samsung Note 7

    • It's just a bit of mood lighting. The Virgin Airlines planes do it for trans-atlantic flights. It's kind of nice actually.

  • not the triangle ones :(

    • +2

Triangle starter kit is available at the same price but will ship in September. Click the link and change the product type

these are a real leg opener if you're a 18 yr old living at home.

    • Speaking from experience?

Ball tracking says pitching in line, hit in line but ball going over the top. Aleem, you’re back on screen, stick with your original decision. Not out.

  • An interesting first post

At first I thought it was a drum set. Then looking closer, it looked like mirrors…. Finally after reading the comments….. my brain exploded.

  • I do actually like the idea of these, I just can't think of anywhere in the house I'd put them without them looking silly.

Not a fan of the rounded hexagon design, it looks like they aren't quite slotting together properly.

    ITT - boomers

  • Check out the Battlestations subreddit. Seems like every PC build on there has the triangle lights on the wall.

    • Yep - today's cliché and tomorrow's landfill.

"Modular touch-reactive light panels elevate the concept of smart lighting into a creative journey of design."

    Of course they do.

  • +14

Jesus is this ozbargain or ozboomer? "What are these? Why would you use these?"

Theyre lights, you put them on a wall. They go pretty colours. What else could they be?

    • OzTooLazyToGoogle

    • be careful, i heard they attract beez

      • +1

        will they attract beezcheezes?

    • This is OzStockAlerts

    • Exactly. Same people shitting on these will recall when between 6:08pm and 6:42pm that Philips Hue was at its 3rd all time low price.

  • Rekon these would go well as ceiling lights in a dark corner of the garage. Just trying to save doing the actual work to mount a panel light. Lumens might be too low though. ALso not sure if you can adhesive mount them on the ceiling.

    • +1

They're really just meant for ambient light. Only 100 lumens per panel.

I guess with 9 you're getting 900 which is comparable to a light bulb, and probably enough to light up a corner of a room. Seems like a needlessly expensive solution though…

  • Is this the stuff some of the YouTube reviewers have in the background?

    • yes

  • +2

This looks like it only worth 70 bucks max aye. If it was 50, it could be a bargain.
