Jacked up prices, service fee and high minimum spend… but they kindly offer "free delivery" these middlemen apps like menulog have gone downhill very quickly :/
Lazy people will still pay even though they could just get in the car and go drive through.
Not everyone owns a car. And if you've been drinking at home you shouldn't be getting in the car anyway.
Those people likely live in walking distance to many take away shops and supermarkets. So my laziness comment stands.

@AustriaBargain: Nope I live close to take away and occasionally use delivery services. My use of these services is always based on how lazy I am at the time.
@Mechz: And what if you’re a young female who lives by themselves, just head out by themselves after dark I suppose? Or what if you’ve visited a tier 1 site and you’re in isolation and can’t leave the house? Or what if you’re injured or unwell?

I've noticed that most places on multiple platforms around here have higher delivery fees with deliveroo, but when you add in the service fees its actually a dollar or two cheaper
