Has Anyone Bought from Home and RV?

Hi all

Has anyone bought from Home and RV (https://www.homeandrv.com.au/) before?

I want to buy something from their website but I cannot see their ABN listed anywhere nor can I find one by searching Google. I cannot find much mention of the shop at all on Google. Their type of shop would definitely need to be registered for GST (their cart shows GST is being charged).

Their Contact Us page lacks a physical address. It is a webform with a telephone number appears to be listed for several other businesses.

When I visited their website, a pop-up displayed asking me to enter my email address. They said I would get 10% off my first order by joining their newsletter. I did this Wednesday and also earlier today (using a different email address) and have received no email communication from the business whatsoever.

Can anybody else help me out on determining this this business' legitimacy? They may be dodgy or they may be legit but amateurs.

  After looking up their WHOIS details, it comes out to a company called SPS Corporation. They have an ABN (35 004 977 815) that was registered since April 2000. The SPS corp website lists a few different businesses they are with, notably a company called NCE that shows what they sell. If you want to buy anything off NCE, it redirects to the Home and RV site you listed above. There is a phone number for NCE on their website.

  I am not vouching for them, nor am I saying if they are legit or not. I am just giving you some information that may help find out if they are real.

    Thanks mate. I feel that adds a small amount more legitimacy.

    Another odd thing I forgot to mention is I wanted to buy a Smith's Portable BBQ. The page has a small YouTube advertisement taken from a TV show on Channel Ten called "What's Up! Downunder" however the Smith's BBQ website has a shop now button that leads to the Home and RV website however, every single page other than the homepage (about, contact, gallery etc) leads to 404 errors.

      Though I still wouldn't say the site screams legitimate, nor does it scream illegitimate. For that reason I wouldn't buy something off there, certainly not without at least having PayPal protection.

  Their store accepts PayPal so I have proceeded with buying the item. I will let everyone know how it goes. The payment screen said something NCE Pty Ltd.

  I received an invoice that had ACN 105 213 045 but no ABN. Punching that ACN into ABN Lookup shows it is ABN 97 105 213 045 for NCE PTY LTD who have been registered for GST since 01 Jul 2003.

  I think this business is legitimate but simply amateurish.
