Free - 10 Intertwined Fates, 2,270 Primo Gems (Save $98) @ Genshin Impact (Completion of Set Tasks Required)

117

The giving out 10 wishes on the time limited banner and 2270 primos. Worth $98

Compared to having to type in 3 codes for 300 primos (less than 12x the value) this deal is really good and saves you time.

Mod note: Log-in, joining quests, and/or completion of quests are required to qualify.

This is the actual content in the game, you save nothing

  • +1

Not a deal, just content available to anyone who has an account

    • Isnt all free stuff like that? A company gives out something of value, you just need to be a human and get it.

This will be avaliable for a limited time. So if they gave you a code to type in for same reward its a deal. But dont need a code its not a deal?

      • +2

I think this "freebie" is more in line with "Complete quest X and get 50 gems" kind of reward, where you have to work/play to get these rewards. Not really a deal nor a freebie. Just ingrained as part of the game as an incentive to continue playing.

Now on the flipside, if I had to use 0 effort to claim these rewards, like the codes earlier, then its a freebie.

        • +1

There is less effort of this reward than typing in a code. To get the reward i posted (10 wishes and 2270 primos) just log in…..

The other deals you need to log in AND put a code in for less reward.

I know the picture posted also includes quests but thats not the deal im posting.

          Hope that clarifies it.

@Chchnu: Had to do a quick translate to see if you were correct. The bottom line google translates to "Complete the above activites, the total can be up to Primogems x2270, Intertwined Fate x10"

I'm not sure where you got your info and how you interpreted this info but to me this clearly says "Do quests and get rewards" and judging by these quests (Hangout, Events, etc) they take more than just logging in.

EDIT: I have to say that if it was just logging in, then this would have been a freebie as you said. Just based on my experience with Genshin, its very unlikely they would give away this many resources for free (despite being 1st anniversary but that's a different story). There were rumours that they were gifting 10x fates via ingame mail - that would have been more of a freebie than this.

    • You up voted a previous genshin deal for 300 Primogems + others but neg this one giving out even more just because there is no code to enter?

Guess if someone just hands him some money from the street its not a deal cos he prefers to jump through some hoops and waste some times before getting the money.

Interesting point, I hadn't actually thought about that until you mentioned it. Without getting too philosophical about what a 'deal' is, I consider a 'deal' for the purposes of Ozbargain: (1) a discount from the normal price, or (2) extra value that would not normally be available.

I considered the codes for 300 primogems as (2), because if you did not know about the codes, you would straight-up miss out on those 300 primogems. Not everyone will get them. However, I don't consider this post as (2) because anyone who has an account would simply receive the 'rewards'. It'd be like saying that the primogems you get from finding chests in the game are 'deals', or, more generally speaking, that the fries you get from a Maccas meal is a 'deal'.

        • -1

I understand your logic, however, to get the 300 primos you need to 1) log in 2) enter a code.

To get this you need to 1) log in.

So using reasoning above, without this post, people might not know about it and might not log in and therefore miss out.

@Chchnu: yeah, I definitely agree with your point that this is easier and more accessible. Unfortunately it just doesn't fit with what I consider a 'deal', which is why I negged.

        • You still have to log into the game to claim it. It is a way to bring players who don't play anymore so they wouldn't know about.

It is also an incentive for people who have been thinking about playing can take advantage of the extra wishes and primogems.

Just because it doesn't apply to you doesn't mean others cannot take advantage of the deal.

          • @CodeXD: It does apply to me, and I didn't say that others can't take advantage of it; as stated above, I just can't agree that it is a 'deal'. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Not a deal, free normal downloadable content.

    • -1

So of they made you type a code in before you got this then its a deal?

      • +3

It's not about the 'effort' to put in a code (geez lockdown has made people lazy). It's about the code being rather "secret", ie if you didn't watch the Chinese live stream you wouldn't have got the code had someone not shared it.

  • +2

This is regular rewards you get from doing the content for each updates spread over 6 weeks.

  • These are rewards you get from completing the upcoming quests and games. Not a deal
Otherwise every chest you open in Genshin could be classified as deal too

  • You might as well post every other quest as a deal since there are some that give gems…

  • Its refreshing that all the negs here aren't about the anniversary rewards lol.
