  • Awww man, I wished it was the USB-C one - it would have been perfect

    • its got USB-A, wouldn't it matter? just use your USB to usb-c cable you got at home.

      • All my cables are primarily USB-C now. Especially my iPhone cables :(

        • how do you plug anything into your PC? :o

        • Can't you just get USB-A to USB-C cables?

Or better yet, get a wireless charger that sits on your vents?

  • All the ones I have tried have had the same annoying flaw - they don't remember where they were up to in a song.

That's only mildly annoying for a 3 minute song, but when you're listening to an hour long podcast, and it restarts every time you turn the car off … well that is really annoying.

I've never seen one of these that specifically mentions it remembers where it's up to.

I'm pretty sure that's up to your phone, not the transmitter.

I'm pretty sure that's up to your phone, not the transmitter.

Well … Who says I am using my phone, after-all: "a microSD card slot & USB port for music playback"

  • Comes up with an additional shipping price when added to cart when it should be free…

    • That's a glitch at the moment. If you're able to change to a different or address or even try slightly modifying it could come right.

      • Tried different accounts with different address and still comes up with sneaky shipping fee.

    • +1

I had the same issue, realised I hadn't added my address or the code, after adding both you have to change the shipping from express to the free one.

      • No option to change to free shipping, only 1 option for paid.

        • Also can't seem to get free shipping.. I've added the coupon code and selected the 'au direct' option

        • I also made an account for the extra 2 dollars off.. maybe that helped

        • It’s a bit hard to see it.
When you are in the checkout page, just above the insurance line it lists the shipping type. Click on that to swap to free shipping.

  • Has anyone actually managed to order this with free shipping (at the price listed here)?

    • Yeah, I got one with the free shipping. Someone else mentioned that you need to enter your address first (maybe make an account too?) and then once the full address is entered then you are able to change the shipping options to the free one.

      • I can see both the free and paid shipping options when adding to cart. I select the free option. Then at the checkout, the shipping option is paid shipping and there is no way to change it
EDIT: works fine on desktop. I tried everything on the mobile app but it wouldn't work. For anyone with the same issue try purchasing using your laptop/desktop.

    • Yes

Yes I bought one with free shipping. The trick is you need to select the free shipping option before check out.

    • Great trick.

  • RIP Sean

    • ah, the OP's profile picture it is

  • Has anyone had experience with this for hands-free phone calls? I've got a cheapie no-name one and the volume is very low (volume on the device on max and car speakers on very high), and the microphone is very weak (other side can barely hear me even when yelling).

  • Something fishy is going on, it increased the price at checkout and refused to accept the coupon code. Can someone confirm if its working, if not then this deal needs to be marked expired.
