I was shopping around for Saeco Odea Go and noticed that there are a couple of sellers selling this coffee machine for under $500 on ebay. I think these are pretty good deals specially becuase Saeco International Australia confirmed that any brand new Saeco or Gaggia product bought through ebay.com.au is covered by 12 months warranty. It is less than the 24 months you get when you buy from retails stores but you are only paying half price for the coffee machine.
I ended up ordering the GIRO Plus model myself… really looking forward to receiving it.
I've had a couple of Saeco coffee machines. It isn't a 12 month warranty you need, it's a 5 year warranty.
My last one was replaced with a brand spanking new one when they couldn't economically repair it, but it had been in the shop twice for a water pump and grinder replacement before that.
An ebay search isn't really a bargain
