Discounted Fuel Gift Cards? Shell Coles Express?

Hi guys

Caltex Woolworths GC seem to have limited availability where they can be redeemed

I am wanting to get it as a gift, Shell seems like the best option but I can't seem to find any discounted gift cards for them. Does anyone know if they do that?

Is Shell Coles Express the same thing?

    edit - have decided just going to get a prepaid visa card for them that way they cna just go where they want and not inconvenienced so i can save a few bucks. thanks anyway

    For future reference…

    • Caltex Woolworths gift cards are actually WISH gift cards dressed up as a store-specific gift card. The e-gift cards share the same gift card prefix (555), so you can redeem a “Caltex Woolworths” gift card at Woolworths, BIG W, Dan Murphy’s, BWS or Caltex Woolworths (EG) fuel stations.

    If you don’t believe me, you can just get a WISH e-gift card, which can be redeemed at Caltex Woolworths (EG) fuel stations, or get a WISH physical gift card, which can be redeemed at Caltex Woolworths (EG) fuel stations and a number of non-EG-owned Caltex/Ampol fuel stations.

    • The only way to get your hands on a discounted Shell Coles Express gift card is by getting a Coles Group & Myer gift card at a discount, which is only really possible if you get a debit/credit card cashback offer for a business selling physical Coles Group & Myer gift card (e.g. Coles, Myer, First Choice Liquor).

    • Shell and Shell Coles Express are not the same (similar to how Caltex/Ampol is not the same as Caltex Woolworths (EG)). There are a number of Shell fuel stations in Australia that are not Coles-branded, so (I think) you cannot use Coles Group & Myer gift cards or Shell Coles Express gift cards at a non-Coles-branded Shell fuel station.

      second this, every time i've loaded a caltex-woolworths gift card in the woolworths money app it comes up as a wish card

      Wow that's good to know thanks. I always get Woolworths card from surveys, ever since they stopped offering WISH about 6 months ago. I will get Caltex Woolworths from now on.
