Looking for Simple Reliable Body Weight Scale

So I'm after a simple body weight type scale to just keep track of my weight nothing more for my health and fitness

I am actually more inclined to buy an old scale that doesn't have blue tooth or run off batteries but they are hard to find

For what it's worth I'm still open to a new modern tech weight scale but you have to really first hand vouch for it and know personally that it is reliable because I bought the Amazon past top 5 best seller renpho weight scale and personally I was not impressed it had a lot of caveats and incorrect readings and required the right circumstances and environment to even get a correct reading so that's why I mentioned I was more inclined to use an older scale

Anyone have any recommendations please post links

Thanks

Stay safe and take care

When using scales to keep track of your weight, the accuracy doesn't matter as much. They all vary to a certain degree. What is important is that you consistently use the same scales so that the readings are all "relative" to each other.

You should also be weighing yourself at the same time each day - for example, before breakfast each morning. If one day you weigh yourself before breakfast and the next you weigh yourself after breakfast, then what you ate for breakfast will obviously cause a larger variation, etc

For $8.50, I don't think you can go past something like this:

Mechanical too, so no batteries. As long as you always use it on the same floor etc., it should be relatively accurate all the time.

  • I have renpho. Seems reliable and accurate to me.

most questions can be answered by the same word. xiaomi.
from shoes, eyeglasses, powerbank, laptop, fan, wallet, toilet bidet, pen, scooter, bag, robot vacuum, aquarium, and many more

  • i wonder if we need those fancy built-in "body fat" ones too ?

    Search renpho on amazon.

Cheap, with surprising accuracy. Bluetooth to phone logs record automatically every time. Really good stuff.

  • I like Renpho. Simple and alerts me to the fact that I am fat everytime I step on it.

Lucky I don't have a towel rack in front of it.

sounds like one of those old manual Avery scales they used to have with the attendant at shopping centres etc back in the 60's would be ideal, no BT reliable and accurate LOL
