Has anyone received any referral points from Amex through someone clicking on your ozbargain link?
On all my other referral clicks the sign up rate is pretty good, but with Amex I've had more clicks than any other link (over 100 clicks) and not one sign up.
Yes credit cards are dependent on getting approved and take longer than other referral programs I'm just more curious if people have seen amex referrals from ozbargain?

How do you check stats?
I just assume a lot of people don’t even know about referral bonus…
I also think alot of people see the big sign up bonus and that’s enough to entice them…
Those people are more likely to be people not interested.
From Amex side I don't think you can check stats.
But since I haven't referred any friends Ozb is my only source.
If you look at your referrals, under your referral link it shows you last clicked (assuming someone has clicked on it)
I did contact Amex once after noticing someone used my link but they wouldn't disclose details as to whether or not any referral points were coming.
Clicking doesn't mean they'll sign up!!!
Yep I know, but there's no other way to really tell if it has been used…
I had someone click my referral link for a card I eventually closed (Velocity Platinum), so dunno if I kissed goodbye to free points.

I have a David Jones Amex Card and received a Referral Bonus in March 2022.
My Referral Code has been with OzBargain for a few years, and I have one Referral.
OzBargain message says "Your referral code for American Express - David Jones Card has expired. It was entered on 2022-09-02 and clicked 52 times"
I checked my Referral Code with Amex to re-enter on OzBargain, but it does not seem to be available.
The Amex site provides to the following message when checking for a Referral: Apologies, this offer is currently unavailable.
It seems American Express David Jones does not currently provide Referral.
