Come with a few cables to connect it to various gizmos.

The headphones are being sold at a reputable manufacturer, so there shouldn't be any issues

OK if ya don’t trust Dell try Amazon @ 109.00

Got one yesterday from Umart for $109 but the price has gone back up.

What's too good to be true?

    • +1

Isn't this about 50% off, is there something about the item to make it seem to good to be true?

    • Well, that was the wrong thread. Oops.

  • How are these headphones compared to the more expensive jbl and others

    • +28

      They’re cheaper

      • -3

        How so,
        Jbl club one is $400
Other include Bose, apple, focal and so on which can be up to $1400

        • +23

Well those ones you mention are $400+

These ones are under $100 - so they are cheaper than the others.

          • -4

@2025: I'm talking about performance not price

        • I’ll bet the BOM for the $1400 ones is $100, just like iPhones. We’re the idiots who pay these companies the 10x markup 😂

          • @Doomedgrind: iPhone 12 is estimated to cost around $A580 to manufacturer. Yes, they make a profit, but not as much as you are suggesting

    • -1

A good rule of thumb for audio gear is that you get what you pay for. Most ~$100 headsets have very good sound for gaming, but you'd probably want something a little better (dedicated headphones, with the option of a clip on mic) for music/movies. The microphone seems to be pretty decent on this one though.

      • +1

        These are $200 not $100
It's only on $100 as it is on special but should still be considered $200 headphones/
P.S I just got it for $80 with a further 6% cashback plus it says 10% cashback on the site so wonder what that means

      • That's why monster cables sound much better that say coat hangers?

  • I have used ps5 pulse headset. Suggestions should I get this for PC or keep using ps5 pulse for pc

    • I've been considering getting the pulse headset, how do they compare to other headsets?

      • -1

Keeping in theme with above comments; more expensive than these.

      • The reviews I read through seemed to think they were good value for £100, so this must be pretty darn good value (excuse the potty language).

They were prone to distortion when the cord rubbed against the chair, and the volume control was chunky, but sound quality is nifty, and the mic was also dandy.

How are these compared to hyperx cloud ii?

      Dare I say it?

      • Yes please?

          They’re cheaper

I've had these for about a year now (I paid about $70 using a Dell voucher I had at the time)

    Pros (for a $70 headset)
    - Sound is good enough for gaming and work (e.g. Discord, Zoom, Google Meets etc)
    - Microphone works well and doesn't pick up much ambient noise
    - Decent build quality
    - Comes with 3.5mm and USB connection so can be used for a variety of devices (e.g. PC, Xbox, PS etc.)

    Cons (for a $70 headset)
    - The wire makes a lot of noise through the headset, it's worse on these than others from my experience.
    - SQ not good enough for listening to music
    - Can be a bit tight for people with bigger heads

    • Does that mean for $200 it's an absolute no buy?

      • +1

I certainly would not pay $200 for these, but for the price I paid I'm happy with them.

FYI - The RRP is a bit of a joke, they are always on "sale" for around the $130-150 mark (a common feature of Dell products)

    • Thank you for the review. Might stick to ps pulse. Bluetooth so you are not stuck.

  • Won these in a Fortress comp a few months back.

Good sound quality but horrendous if you plan on using the microphone component of the headset, as the audio just feeds back through the mic no matter what you do to the settings… Kinda defeats the purpose of using them as a headset.

Ended up getting a Razer Blackshark V2, so much better and around the same price as this deal :)

Mine broke after one month. Didn't get dell support. Waste of money

  • I've been using mine for close to a year now and love it. No complaints from me, but obviously there are some people who may prefer BT headphones for gaming. The line does have controls for muting and volume, so I find that convenient.

  • What's the difference between these and two tin cans tied together with string?

    • +5

You don't need a friend at the end

      • Thanks. Purchased.

  • How are these compared to other similar performance headsets at $96.31?

    • -1

      They’re white

  • I have the cheaper version of these. Were good enough when I got them for 68 dollars on special, but the mike seems to have died. Just gotten super quiet. Considering that i've seen the cloud x wireless for the same price, that are a great gaming headset with a spectacular microphone, these seem silly at $200

  • Pretty sure this has now ended. Price back up to around $200….
