M.2 SSD Deals?

Hi all,
Was just wondering if anyone has seen any recent deals for NVME SSD's. Ideally wanted a 2TB to replace a current 250 in a laptop for games/storage as the laptop only has the one M.2 slot. Alternatively I might look at getting an external enclosure and finding something that would fit inside it and store games on it and move them back and forth.

Saw some earlier this week but sadly they expired so thought I'd take a stab and make my first post, frequently using this site to snag a good bargain.

Thanks in advance
Brayden

What's your laptop model? Make sure that m.2 slot is compatible with NVMe because some only support SATA.
Does your laptop have a 2.5" drive bay? If so you can get good quality 2.5" SSDs for around $250

  • There you go posted a few minutes ago. Not NvME M.2 though. External SSD

This forum post prompted me to check out 2TB SSD prices and find that deal, lol
It's still an internal drive though, needs an enclosure to use externally

        Oh yeah my mistake, internal

  • Hey guys, it's my buddies Lenovo Y540 nothing crazy flash. It's his birthday on Tuesday so I was going to order him one to upgrade his current storage because he's always having to remove games and redownload them. At the moment it has a M.2 NVME that's in the 240/250gb and a 1TB Sata SSD so he's storage is pretty small, no additional slots for either so I thought upgrading the M.2 to a 2TB would take him up to a 3TB total for his games etc and just reinstall windows.

Usually its not much more for a M.2 drive when there are sales, I saw one earlier this week I missed out on was about $263 for a 2TB https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/643545 but sadly it expired so I thought I'd just take a stab asking.

I just saw the 2TB FireRunner posted so I might grab that if I can't find any M.2 ones and just a cheap enclosure, install the 2TB over the 1TB and throw the 1TB in the enclosure as a external game/storage drive and he can swap them back and forth.

    Thanks for the help
