Can anyone share their experiences with this device/product? Hoping to put one in the walk in wardrobe.

Had it for awhile, the magnet is very strong, the 30 sec timeout is handy and brightness isn't bad. Haven't got another one to compare brightness, should be enough for a wardrobe though.

Doesn't appear to be motion-sensing/activated, so may be annoying trying to locate in the dark ?

I picked up some of the Aldi Sensing lights recently - hold 3 x aaa batteries - I use cheap rechargeables.

Alternatively, if you have Prime, this appears to be a good deal on Amazon.com.au

  • Forgot the store coupon

  • I got 2 from the previous deal. It works as expected. I think it is pretty good.

    • Where do you use them?

      • I use it under my kitchen cabinet. I always wanted some lighting there because sometimes it is not bright enough for me to do some choking there. Does the job really well.

bright enough for me to do some choking there

Is that choking the chicken under the kitchen cabinet? There's probably a subreddit for that

    • Is it good idea for kid desk for study? Is it bright enough for study?

I use it for the toddlers' little desk and found it's great. The table sits against the kitchen bench which just so happens to block the light and then their back blocks it from the other side due to angle. Stuck this under the kitchen bench and have it angled towards the desk and it's great lighting.

How many lumens is this? Can't seem to find from the spec.

  • Got one and I think it's pretty good. Use it on the bathroom vanity mirror and the missus is happy. The colour temp adjustment is very handy.

  • Any black? White only looks good in white areas.

      Black Lights Matter

  • How does the attachment part attach to wall? Is that magnetic? Or dbl side tape?

    • +7

The base has double sided tape and then the lamp is magnetically attached to the base. The double sided tape is very strong. If you stick it to a plaster wall, I imagine it will tear the paint when you try to remove it.

If it had movement sensor I would buy it.

  • Thanks op bought one 😀.

Just a minor design flaw. There's no little indent/bump for the power button, so it's a little hard to switch it on in the dark… Other than that, pretty useful as a reading light.

    • +2

I'd say that is more than just a minor flaw. Looking for that on/off button shits me to tears when you're fumbling around in the dark.

      • +13

Just create a small dot with superglue above the button. 10 second fix

Wouldn't motion sensor light more appropriate for wardrobe?

  • +1

A little bit cheaper on app: $19.13

    • +2

      Dammit that's 20c gone

      • +2

        Well, 22c

Way to rub salt in the wound

  • Hmmm. My store coupon doesnt seem to add within app…
    Will try from desktop later.

    • It did on mine.

  • Thanks OP! I bought this from banggood earlier and was after another… procrastinated and now I've saved 10 buckaroos!

  • Thanks OP, it's Usb-C, just take my money.

  • Tried the code
    Says Promo code has run-out???

  • Get a message at checkout that the promo code has run out. Deal over?

    • Yep, me too. That was quick then.

I prefer to wait for the model with variable colour temp anyway for a few more bucks when on sale. Have one and love it.

  • Anyone know if the the battery can be replaced?

I mean without special tools, probably braking the casing, and soldering
