    REVISED RISER CARD PRE-INSTALLED.

So the fire issue has been confirmed fixed?

    • +1

Yes, though i believe there are two variants of the riser card. Worth doing your own research before buying.

      • +4

Yeah, I watched a Gamers Nexus video about a media riser vs actual consumer riser… I'd steer clear of this personally.

    $96 for shipping! yikes

  • Is this case adequate enough to run an RTX3080, both power and cooling wise?

    • +1

There would be very few who can answer your question mate. Look up optimum tech on YouTube

    • From what I've seen I don't think it's a good idea. You would also find it really hard to find 3080 that fits. If I am not wrong, the founder's edition does….very hard to buy it

    • probably run into power draw problems with at 3080, especially with a decently powered CPU..

    • +1

650W is borderline for a 3080. Nvidia suggests 750W Minimum

    • +3

Have one running at the moment, Optimum tech says its enough to run on the psu supplied but I've changed to a 750w, cooling is workable.

    • Yep, have this case running a 5600x + Gigabyte 3080 Eagle OC. Pulls just over 400W from the wall during a heavy gaming load (slight undervolt, but stock clockspeeds on the GPU). As long as you can fit the card in (< 2.7 slot thick, and < 318mm long), it should be fine.

My Gigabyte card is actually longer than what can fit in the case, but it's a pretty simple mod to lower the tray for extra room if you don't mind some DIY.

      • Is there a tutorial or a guide to this mod somewhere? Pretty sure my card fits but if I upgrade to something with a beefy cooler I'd like to know how to increase GPU clearance, TIA

        • +1

This is what I referred to, only thing I did differently is use some countersunk machine screws to attach the tray to the top of the case again.

    • Not many 3080 can fit it and even if it is, very very tight fit and close to no airflow (already a premium in this case).

    • wouldn't recommend it. had this case previously with a 9900k and strix 2080, temps were decent for CPU but GPU would get loud and hot. Have a meshlicious system and that is miles better.

  • I'd love to get something like this but it sucks that it's limited to a 650w as I'd want a 3080 / 5800x type setup in there.

    Would love a SFF build that's 750-850w

      650W is more than enough….

These klarna deals are getting spammed. I don't support so called bargains that require signing up for a paid service.

    • agreed. Not sure if Klarna is paid but avoided for the same reasons of Afterpay,….

    • +3

May those that want to enjoy these deals? Perhaps you can hide them?

    • Paid service wtf are you on about, if you can't afford to pay back on time then don't bloody purchase something.

  • +6

Don't support a company that's repeatedly tried to cheap out on the fixes for this case.
