A trilogy of UltraBoost 1.0 DNA's is upon us, each one paying homage to an original colourway of either the ZX 6000, ZX 8000, or ZX 9000. Similar to the Torsion-cushioned ZX 6000 silhouette, the Ultra Boost keeps its Primeknit uppers in a bright white while tinting its Boost foam sole in a cream-like shade. The green and red side stripes on the retro runner are reprised by this new pair’s lace cages. The stripes on the lace cages also squeeze in a hint of yellow to replicate the suede overlays on the ZX6000. A red inside and two-toned branding on the tongue continue the imitation effort. To complete the design, the signature neon Torsion System-branded lace dubrae and a Torsion bar underfoot are both included, as a fashion of old-school and modern adidas innovations.
