To be fair, they do look like your average cheap earphones you get from Woolies or Big W… anyone own these before and know how they sound?
The one review on the website doesn't bode well
These are quite popular in asian countries and indian subcontinent for their durability and sound quality.
I have e10c and it still works perfectly and no degradation. The skin of the cables will wear off though after few years.
Good for desk usage, listening to music, watching movies and attending meetings. Not suitable for exercise though as they tend to fall off.
@usbc activist: Try to route them above and around the ear. You'll stop listening to the awful hrr-hrr from the cable rubbing on your hoodie.
I have the E50S, very well built. Five years old now and they sound fantastic. The bass is awesome and doesn't colour the rest of the music, more than worth it for the price.
Great price, highly recommend!
After having the E10 from 2014 to 2018, which I loved, I purchased E80C from the above seller on April 2018. I used the E10 so much that some of the wire jacket was getting brittle and breaking away around the ear. Both models sound amazingly good. My only issue compared to the E10 (including E11C) is that E80C are more difficult to put them above the ear to avoid microphoning effect due to the way the cable exits the earphone.
They have lasted more than any other wired in-ear earphones I've ever owned and I'd buy them again.
E80C are also on offer for the same discounted price.
Any recommendations on durability between the E10/11 series and the E80?
I had the E80C for three years before they died and I loved them, comparatively I have been through similarly priced IEMs from FiiO, Beyerdynamic, Noble, and others I cannot even remember and have had to return to my local store for warranty in under a year each time. Thinking of just giving up on the return and retry process and buying another pair of soundmagic as they have been the only ones to last.
For others reading, the E80C also on sale is easily worth the price and well reviewed. Mine lasted ages and sounded great.
can someone compare this to the moondrop aria/starfields?
Had e10s quite a few years ago. Sound was very good. They used to get a lot of good reviews for sound/price. Not sure of later models, but would expect pretty decent sound.
Can anybody attest for the 'sophisticated' sound quality?
