    is this a diskstation

  • I would buy this but my stupid annoying front load washing machine won't die. Lol

    • I'd much rather a front loader than a top loader any day! Cleans better, use less water and more gentle on clothes.

and use more power and take twice as long….

        • I doubt they use more power and front loaders now have quick cycles if you need, but I tend to use the 1hour Daily Wash cycle. Not like I have to stand there while it washes so how long it takes doesn't really bother me.

  • Got an Aldi front loader 5kg still going strong 2 years later

Get back to us in 10 years, then the recommendation may mean something.

Pulled the trigger - can't go wrong for this price + 3 years warranty. thanks OP !

    • Hey smiles,
I am currently considering one of these washing machines and wondered if you were happy with your purchase? PS: Appliances Online have increased the price on this machine but said they could do it at the special price just for me, probably because I'm special. (-:

LOL - I guess the 10KG is still on specials. I bought a 10KG and even that looks small to me :-) .. Definitely I'd give it 2.8 out of 5 stars.. because the wash cycle is really delicate.Obviously you get what you pay for. If budget is not a constraint, spend few hundred more and get Samsung or F&P. Worth the price. I only bought coz it came with 3 yrs warranty. Atleast I can return if I don't like. I ran a proper 1 hour wash cycle with soak + wash + rinse + spin and the results were not that bad. I can live with it for next 2-3 yrs easy.

        • My twenty year old 5.5kg Simpson Esprit has started squealing like a stuck pig (probably a bearing or bushing) and is also shredding clothes to pieces, flannelette pyjamas only last a dozen or so washes so a more delicate machine is warranted. I have a dilemma as I didn't want them to take away the old one and then find the new one is crap, sometimes it's better the devil you know. Many Thanks.
