Oppo Find X2 Pro Notification Sound during Phone Calls

Hey guys,

I purchased the Telstra branded version of this OPPO from JB Hifi a few months ago when they had it for half RRP. I have noticed that when I am in a phone call and I receive a notification, the phone makes a loud, split second beep sound which of course while I have the phone to my ear, is quite annoying and loud. This happens whether it's a true phone call or messenger call, whatsapp etc.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have tried looking it up but have had no luck. I have gone through settings but not really sure what I'm looking for. This is my last attempt at sourcing a fix before factory resetting my phone.

    Press one of the physical volume buttons which should bring up the volume slider on screen. Press the double dot and adjust the notification volume.

    Can also switch to silent mode. Not the most ideal solution if you rely on the notification sounds…

      Muting it really isn't a solution at all. From my experience with any other phone, when in a call, it will mute itself for any incoming notifications for that time the call is active. What's more, if it did, it would make the sound you set to for your notifications, not a random sound . This sound only plays when a phone call is active and I receive a notification.
