Thanks. Grabbed a bag each of 3056 and Seasonal from Code Black. Free express shipping is a decent deal.

3056 is devine — exceptional choice!

My favourite everyday beans so far

      Thanks for your order ❤️

you know I love your work but dispatch on Friday's is a pain. You manifest on Friday but collection is late/next day and your good friends at Post won't deliver until Monday/Tuesday at best. Any chance of returning to the old regime eg: Tuesday?

    • +4

Yeah that's a really fair call - pre NSW lockdown it was getting hard to sustain 2 dispatch days. And I we landed on Friday because it was the busier of the two.

However, I think it's definitely worth us revisiting a different day to dispatch. We might try that once orders for this round close on Wednesday night.

Just out of interest, and please be as vague as possible for your own privacy - what part of the country are you in?

I'm in the next suburb to you — I'd watch it on the tracker go from Vermont (Fri) to Wantirna (Fri/Sat) to Tullamarine (Sunday) and make it's way back to me Monday if express, Tuesday if parcel post.

Here's me about to throw a spanner in the wrench, I'm a few more suburbs over east (Ferntree Gully) and got my Friday shipped order on Saturday morning @11:39! I guess it depends on who's the postie at the time

        • Ok let's give this a go :) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/644002

I concur; having the beans held by Aust Post over the weekend is frustrating, especially when you might be at the end of your current supply. Tuesday dispatch is perfect; plenty of time to arrive before the weekend, even if there are delays.

    • I would argue that given the beans are roasted literally days before the Friday dispatch, they need at least the time in the post to degas. Regardless, I agree with the inconsistency with AusPost…

    Hey team!

Just wanted to say thanks for your ongoing 5 star service to us addicts. I'm pretty sure I saw you drop off my order last weekend as well. You're doing a great job, it's much appreciated.

For anyone else in any doubt whatsoever (would be hard given the praise on OzB alone), just order! Great products, always freshly roasted, top tier service.

    :-)

Really appreciate the kind words. It's hard to explain how much this means when you're running a small business ❤️

Hi OP, haven't tried any of your blends before. What would you recommend for milk-based, low acidic (less fruity, more chocolatey) coffees? Thanks.

    • +3

Sure thing, I'd suggest Moto Racer, Market Lane Marimbus, Code Black E.W. Blend to start :)

      • +2

Thanks. Ordered a couple of your recommendations.

Thanks again OP! I know they're not in the current deal but I can definitely recommend the Wood and Co - Twin Peaks, the other half likes the decaf blend…and she doesn't ordinarily drink coffee!

    • We still have some sneaky deals on those coffees! Also, glad to hear she likes the decaf :)
