    • @jv seems you missed the keyword inclusive in the description on the product description. Fore the sake of replying at-least its not snailmail from chn…..

Good thongs. I have those and they are better than the cheap ones.

    • +2

Totally agree. Was suffering with heel pain and these helped with it.

      • Was suffering with heel pain and these helped with it.

        How did they help?

        • +13

They took the pain out to dinner and convinced it that it should move on

    • How long would there last? Are they just a supportive version of a haviana?

      • +1

Couple of years easy. They're single-piece moulded so can't have the plug pull through like Havianas etc.

      • I have had mine for 2.5 years and are used all the time (I only wear shoes if I am going somewhere that doesnt allow thongs).. no sign of breaking.

going to grab another at this price as a backup just in case.

Nice. Have been curious about these for a while. Ordered the high support - assuming these are generally the better version to get.

    • +1

      That'll depend on your foot/gait i reckon

For those with foot problem, going barefoot as much as possible actually helps.

    • +4

Not always, for people with spurs they need cushioning

  • It is a bit confusing looking at the pictures of the regular ones and the high support ones. Does it mean the high support ones are waterproof compared to the regular?

    • +1

      They're all waterproof - they're just solid rubber/foam stuff

    Shipping is $7.95 to Brisbane.

Highly recommend for anyone with Plantar fasciitis or similar. If I wore standard 'flat' thongs for a full day my feet would ache at night. Someone recommended these and have never had the issue again (I combined with adding orthotic inserts to my daily shoes as well). Plus, because they are a moulded 1 piece design, they seem to fit more snuggly and the thingo between your toes can't 'pop' out. Worth every cent.

  • Love my Archies. On my 2nd pair now. First pair would have lasted longer (had them for 2yrs), if it wasn't for the pooch constantly stepping on them from behind while I was walking, so eventually the strap broke between the toes!

  • I have plantar fasciitis and can agree, these thongs are awesome. You can get similar arch support from something like Birkenstock's, but the price is drastically different and you can't take Birkenstock's to the beach etc.

    • +1

I take my EVA birks to the beach all the time… but you’re definitely right about the cork ones

  • Buying my second pair now… I've owned a pair for a few years and it's helped a lot with my plantar fasicitiis. You can't go wrong for the price. I'm a woman with extra wide feet, and have no issues with fit - the straps will adjust to you but won't stretch out.

Man, their website sucks balls though.

    • I haven't heard of plantar fasicitiis before, do you get pain in the middle of your foot inner sides after long walks?
I have been getting this alot lately and wondering if these thongs will help

      • You might want to look into buying more appropriate footwear. I don't really think thongs are your go-to for a long walk… then again… I guess it's anyone's translation of what "long walk" means? hahaha

      • I primarily get pain underneath my arches in the centre of my foot but it can range.
Definitely look into something with arch support, I've generally found there's not a lot of cheap shoe options that offer this so also look into getting orthotics that can fit into normal shoes.
These can also range in price but if you have a uni nearby see if the offer a student podiatry clinic - they'll be able to confirm your issues and if you do need orthotics they're so much cheaper!
