I want the Vodafone 500GB/$60mo deal

Working from home has ruined my data allowance, currently on a $65mo 180GB Telstra offering which shapes to 1.5mbit but offers me 200mbit speeds.
The Vodafone one I could get 100mbit which is plenty, and it shapes to 25mbit which is still okay IF I hit 500GB.

I called and spoke to a sales rep and he said it was a fixed offer and he can't do anything about it currently being $75.
Has anyone had any luck getting a $60 price matched from EOFY deals?

Previously was same offering just $60 instead of $75… Or any other high data plans available? Telstra/Voda only. Optus service is bad here.

NBN/fixed line I don't need, have a Felix sim in a modem just need more than 20mbit regularly.

    What you want and what they offer are not always the same thing.

    Previously was same offering just $60 instead of $75

    Should have signed up then. The current deal is $75. Take it or leave it.

    How long did it take you to use up 180GB? Just get the 300GB one if it's taken more than ~18 days

    An offer is an offer. Prices change. Anyway, how on Earth do you manage 500GB usage? I do a ton of streaming, video calling, image downloading and more and barely hit 400GB. I'd love for the Optus One plan to come back, but oh well. So your options:

    • Vodafone 500GB then 25Mbps unlimited - $75/month (sale price with bonus data, ends 2/9/2021)
    • Telstra 400GB mobile broadband then 1.5Mbps - $85/month
    • Felix 20Mbps - $35/month (one month free available with code)
    • Spintel 500GB - $69.95/month (AC800s or B818 modem required to work)

    It annoys me there are not more high usage options but that's because they don't want customers that cost them more than we're worth. 4G and 5G home internet options are also available for cheaper, including with Vodafone now.

      500GB is pretty easy to achieve I find, especially if you hotspot.
      It's not my normal monthly usage, sometimes I will do 150gb, sometimes 700. Just depends.
