I've been asked by a family member to find a new laptop for them to do some web browsing and photobooks.

Must haves:

Anyone know of a laptop that meets these specifications?

  This Officeworks one seems to be the same laptop but with 8GB RAM and $2 cheaper?
  
  However at $500 I think it makes more sense getting refurbished/2nd hand laptops.

    Why does it make more sense to get refurb/2nd hand at $500 ?
    
    I'd go with refurb/2nd hand if your budget is < 300 aud

      For the spec that OP is asking?
      
      With $500 you could probably get ThinkPad T460s or X1 Carbon Gen 4 + replacement battery, and would be a better laptop than the HP.
