    On second thought, from the readme.txt after it finally downloaded: "You have to install it before the Giveaway offer for the software is over." Not fond of these one-off install deals :-/

      You can 1/2 get round this…

      If the GAOTD item does not require a separate activation key, or a key is included in the GAOTD distro, you can use this method for saving the software and then doing the installation at a later time of your choosing:

    It seem it is free all the time. I Google'd around and I can't see where they sell for anything other than $0. They say it is $40 but it is available for free on pretty much every 'deal' website.
    So it seems like this is the equivalent of the 'free' version (as opposed to the 'pro' version) that many websites offer for their products.
    This free version is hobbled to not have features of the paid version.
    It seems to me they are basically using deal website to get people to download and use their free version in the hope that they buy the paid version - however they are saying it costs $40 to make it seem like 'a deal'.
    So I don't consider this a deal.
    Please correct me if I am wrong - I have an open mind, I couldn't find evidence to the contrary though….

      I have downloaded it and am using it, it is the Pro version, if you haven't tried it why bother with a neg ?

      EDIT: I can't see a Drive Copy 11 Free version your talking about ?!

      EDIT: All the blogs you have seen are advertising the GOTD… LOL
