Hey all, recently purchased an Alienware AW2721D off eBay for $999 (25% off listing price) but came to check the item page the next day only to see an eBay voucher to take off an additional 20% putting the total cost to $799. Now my question is, Since I only made the purchase within 24hours of the voucher being offered is there anything I can do about it? Any advice is appreciated thanks.
you can ask the seller to cancel original order & purchase again.
Luckily Dell doesn't ship all that fast so it's possible that you still have time to cancel the order. I'd contact the seller ASAP.
I made payment with paypal pay in 4, so not sure how it would work canceling the order

Not really….. As the voucher/discount is applied by ebay, not the seller.
As others have said, you can ask to cancel and purchase again.
Update - I messaged dell on ebay, they canceled my order so I can purchase again for the promotional price, I made the purchase for the new one for 799 so all is good now thanks. Just waiting for paypal to refund me on the previous down payment using pay in 4, have no clue how long it would take?
they may not let you use pay in 4 again since you just cancelled the first order?
If you bought an Alienware AW2721D and the next day you came back to see that the price had increased by 20%, would you be trying to contact eBay to find out how you can make up the difference?
Buy it again and cancel the first?
Wait for the first to arrive and then do a change-of mind return instead?
Can't post-date the voucher to the old order, but you have plenty of options.
