Just bought a new PC. Previously I have had both these programs installed for $50 through a mate. He Isn't doing PC's anymore and doesnt have any 'keys' is what he said.
Does anyone know where/how I can get these programs cheap? I kinda eeked when I saw the prices :(

If you know a Uni student. Unless you're a Uni student then it's technically not legal, but since you used to get it done for $50 from a mate, I guess that's not that important to you.
You can use the upgrade version of Windows 7 they sell to do a fresh install.
As seen over the life of a machine, the cost isn't that great.
Of course there are alternatives like Libre Office.
