Hi All, just after a bit of advice on wireless controllers.
We've just got a new m1 iPad pro and will very soon be getting a Switch for the kids so wondering what BT controller will work well for both? if any.
cheers

This is probably the best choice.
second this, it works great
cheers. seems like that that's the one.
They stuffed up the design slightly imo. Should have kept the concave buttons for x and y. Easy enough to open and switch them though.
Note that an 8BitDo controller won't be able to turn your switch on remotely - just a consideration. I have 2 of them but rarely use them, my switch lives in the back of a cabinet so being able to turn it on via a pro controller is more convenient.
thanks for the info. Hard to know how much of a hassle that might be but reckon it'll be an acceptable compromise.
The alternative is nintendo pro controller for the swtich and an 8bitdo for the ipad, so I'll just start with the 8bitdo and see how it goes.
Switch pro controllers are Bluetooth, so you can use them on other devices - not sure about an iPad though. I've used mine on my PC in the past, although I have a dedicated one now so not sure if there are issues switching back and forth between devices
apparently nintendo controller doesn't work with an iPad.
just ordered the 8BitDo Pro 2. cheers all.
Received yesterday and working just fine with the ipad.
A bit disappointed to realise mario kart doesn't support controllers though. ggrrrrr.
Mario Kart 8 definitely supports the 8bitdo controller. Unless you mean Home Circuit?
Mario Kart Tour on the iPad.
Probably a case of Nintendo not allowing controllers out of fear it’d impact Switch sales.
Get the 8BitDo Pro 2
