  • Woohoo I just ran out

    • What do you use them for? I recently bought some as I marked my ceiling by accident when setting up a new bed. Can't think how I would use them regularly. Hope they work on my roof!

        Use them on white sneakers.

        • Does it rub the top layer of the sneakers off and damage them?

        • I'll give it a shot, thanks

  • +4

Actually theyre even cheaper S&S on Amazon down to $1.62 https://www.amazon.com.au/Chux-Magic-Eraser-Cleaner-count/dp…

    • +1

      Minimum order of 4 though

      • I always need 10 anyway.

Daiso sells a bag of 30 for a couple dollars.

  • I still have a few left from this deal :)

    • Me too!

  • +2

I heard this is course like sandpaper and can damage paint - not sure if true

    • +4

They are abrasive but take a lot of scrubbing to go through the paint from my experience

    • +1

Fine on normal matte finish indoor paints unless you go crazy with it. But yeah definitely keep it away from anything glossy.

    • +5

That is more or less the mode of cleaning action, so I guess hypothetically they could damage paint- but IMO these are the best way to remove most marks on walls, furniture etc., way better than scrubbing away with simple green and hoping for the best.

I would definitely not use it on a car, or gloss appliances though, like the other commenter mentioned

    • +2

yes it works through abrasion. So definitely not for car paint

    • +3

Yeah it's basically like a very fine sandpaper, I think the idea is it only takes off an extremely thin layer though.

  • would this be good to remove rust from a bbq?

    • +1

Nah, these are a lighter duty cleaner, eg you drag something and it leaves a mark on the floor/wall.

Removing rust from a bbq would be better done with a scourer, wire brush, steel wool, sandpaper or chemical means, like vinegar

      • thanks. any tips on how to clean up the stainless steel hood? it has been exposed to weather a bit so a bit of rust on it

        • You could try scotchbrite/3m scourers, or an abrasive cleaner like JIF/stainless steel polish? As always spot test first

        • +2

          Bar keepers friend 👌

    • For rust, use CLR.

  • +1

Correct me if I am wrong but these are 8xsmall cubes

I think you are better of going to Daiso or buying on ebay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363203735304?hash=item5490a12f08…

You can cut the big ones into whatever size you need.

    • Yeah they look heaps cheaper on ebay and they're the big blocks

  • +4

Can it clean the shower screen glass?

    • +8

Absolutely best product for that job imho 😁

      • Thanks mate, will order it.

  • Are these better or same as the Kmart ones?
    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/6-cleaning-erasers/1936830

    Obviously, this deal is cheaper.

Search for melamine cleaning pads (what these are). I got a hundred for a few bucks over a year ago, still got more than half left.

      This is the way.

        This is the way.

Great price. Great for an end of lease clean, however they will leave wall marks cleaner than the rest of the wall :S I believe because they do take off some paint. Do wear gloves when using them.

  • +5

Get these from DAISO for $2.8 and you get 3 times as much. They are pretty much the same quality.

  • +1

Please include the original price. smh

    • Ask a mod rather than stress yourself out by shaking your head.

  • An alternative to these things is to scrub with a little toothpaste.
