Is there anything I can do to get a higher authority on a refund at eBay?
I have been in contact with eBay support 8 times now with regards to getting a refund on a cancelled eBay Plus subscription. Each time they assure me it'll come through this time and tell me to take the chat reference number and wait either 7-10 business days, 2 weeks or "30 days max"… and each time it doesn't come through.
I've been very respectful each time but this 8th time I refused to leave until they gave me some sort of extra verification I'll actually get it or let me speak to someone higher up, the chat ended with them disconnecting me.
Starting to sound a bit like the boy who cried wolf hey?
Anyone else had a similar situation? I could drop it and part without the refund but now out of stubbornness I'd rather burn my self to the ground before giving up. Already wasted 188 days of my time, whats the rest of my life.
I did tried last year to ask for refund, eventually they refunded membership fees and gave me free membership for a year after a few discussion with their rep as they took out the fees as auto-renew. I even disputed with my bank while it took so long. In your case, better talk to the bank to get ur money back
