That's what it says on the back of the starter pack. Is that correct? I mean, how do they know when to start the 365 days countdown?

They usually have a use by date printed somewhere.
I can't find any expiration date and I have rather old SIM with manufacture date from year 2019. I can't activate and the customer support says to contact Woolies since I bought it from Woolies. Interestingly, they (CSO) said it is not their SIM.
Most likely not activated instore. VF is still lenient to expiry date since the change. From my exp, you may still have 3 to 6 months after 365 days.
Manu date has nothing to do with it.
Yeah, haven't experienced Vodafone SIM being expired before activation.
Prepaid Vodafone sims will expire 365 days after purchase if they're not activated before that. When they're purchased they're scanned through some kind of system that readies them for activation, and that's when the 365 day countdown starts. So if you bought it in 2019 you won't be able to activate it.
It has been nearly one year since the topic. I had a SIM purchased online in June 2021, but it is still OK to activate it today. Obviously, 365 days expiry terms does not apply. Just like I said above a year ago, I did activate one last year (after 365 days from purchase).
Thanks for the info. It's good to know.
Umm I would have thought once its registered once sold?
