  • How's everyone experience with the mobile app that connect to this watch and whatsapp on the watch? Thanks.

    • +1

I think it's a good watch, but to be honest I gave up on Android wear even though I have been using it for the past 6+ years. that's the reason I am jumping ship to iOS.

    • +1

I have the E3 and I'm only using the Mobvoi app at the moment to share my HIIT workouts to try and get refund with the current competition.

After that I don't really see myself having to use it. I use Google Fit for workouts and Sleep as Android for sleep tracking. I also use other apps for watchfaces.

Having said that I haven't really had any issues with the Mobvoi app but I've only had it for 10 days.

    • +1

Didn't see the Whatsapp question. You get notifications on the watch and can reply when you receive them but once you've cleared them or replied that's it.

You can't initiate anything from the watch itself.

    Great Deal! Thanks Hamza

Great Bargain! Very good price for a good watch. Please note that this watch will receive the new Wear OS 3.0 update :)

Mid 2022 supposedly, Google wants to give Samsung some exclusive time with the GW4

      • +1

Yeah, you might get it by end of 2022 if you are lucky. I will pass

I've got one of these watches and it's great. Awesome battery life as the watch lasts for 3 days with everything on. It does everything I want such as take phone calls, notifications and tracks my exercise. For this price it's a no brainer.

If I didn't already have the older Ticwatch Pro, I would get this at this price. The dual layer display is such a unique feature, and has been awesome on bright sunny days.

    • pity the LCD has no light for night time =[

      • Mine does..

      • Are you referring to the top monochrome LCD layer? I only use that when I'm out on a particularly sunny day. It does not have backlighting when on Essential mode on Ticwatch Pro. But I believe the Ticwatch Pro 3 has it.

    Oh for crying out loud.

I literally bought one on Thursday for a whole heap more than that!

Great watch. The 4100 transforms WearOS.

    • Depending on how you bought it, a lot of major bank cards are now offering price drop protection for X days after purchase.

      • +2

I didn't. Oh well, it is what it is :)

  • Thanks OP, I've been wanting to upgrade from the Fossil Gen 5 I picked up for $150, but I couldn't justify the price tag for the Ticwatch Pro 3.

  • +2

Awesome deal! Jump on it now or wait until the the Galaxy watch 4 release next month?

    Oh the dilemma…

    • Or consider if you really NEED it :)

      • +2

        Absolutely without a doubt! haha

    • +1

This is probably a third or a quarter of the price the Galaxy Watch 4 will come out at…

  • +1

Thanks OP…I recently bought the E3 with the HIIT comp but I really wanted this watch so since I'm on track with getting the other one for free I just bought one of these ones as well.

  • Does this have a vibration feature?

    • yes it does. Vibrates with emails or new msgs etc. Vibrates also when phone rings and you can take the call on this watch

    • Note that the vibration is very weak and can easily go unnoticed. You may be better off with a ringtone set at low volume.

  • seems like decent price, currently got the e3 with the hiit comp. good watch overall

  • Thank you - bought 1

  • Shame no LTE version sold in Australia, only gen 1 lte available

  • Do I need this?

  • Bought one. Thanks, OP.

  • how much bigger than the e3 is this watch?

Was thinking of the e3 for the Hiit but not yet dispatched so could cancel, if this is better for the same price (notwithstanding me doing workouts to get a discounted e3 price!)

is this better built/batter/features than the e3, or just different look and bigger battery?

    • If you're willing to pay the full price, it'd probably be better to get this watch and the headphones for free.

  • Cheers… Got 1

    47 mm :(
I wish they made this in like 42.

    • I know. Its massive haha.
Anyone with this watch able to post a pic with their wrist size in cm or inches? Thanks.

      • It's likely to look big on anything less than a 7" / 17.5cm wrist. But no big deal wearing an oversized watch these days.

  • Cheers OP.
Bought. Didn't pull the trigger on the E3 deal last week. And have been wanting something to replace my Fitbit Blaze for ages…

  • Hey OP, how do you get the buds?

  • Any idea guys why it's not offering the free tickets as I m trying add to cart?

  • +1

Not free TicPods ANC Earbuds anymore :(

  • Looks like this is one of the few devices that will be eligible to update to Wear 3 as well, based on this recent Ars article, which says:

"Wear OS devices that will be eligible for upgrade include Mobvoi’s TicWatch Pro 3 GPS, TicWatch Pro 3 Cellular/LTE, TicWatch E3 and follow on TicWatch devices, as well as Fossil Group’s new generation of devices launching later this year."

  • Looks like price has gone up managed to get in before.

  • So glad I got one and with the pods, thank you. I have airpods pro so will be interested in the differences.

I've had this as a daily wear for about 6 weeks. It's great as a smart watch and battery is terrific for such a device. Dual screen LCD is more visible the sunnier it is which is so much better than most of these devices. For example, I also have a Miband 6 and Fitbit Charge 2 and they are so hard to read in sunlight with sunglasses on.

Where this watch is let down is with a couple of the health and fitness apps. Steps are way off by about 15% due to false reads (more like 50% if you're Italian). And the sleep app will register you as being asleep when you may simply be motionless watching a movie or trying to fall asleep. However, there are regular updates (I've had 3 so far) so these issues could be addressed in the software sensitivity. Lastly, the exercise heart rate is out - can be too high or too low depending on type of activity.

Buy it as a smart watch, not a fitness tracker. Get a Miband 6 for fitness, get a Fitbit Charge for best sleep tracking.

    • May i ask if the sleep tracking syncs well with the mobvoi app?
I have the E3 (similar to this) and somedays the phone app will only show the hours asleep and not the sleep efficieny (deep sleep, REM etc), while it shows all this data on the watch properly.

  • Does anyone know if it is possible to add myki to the watch's google pay?

I order the watch yesterday, arrived today. great watch so far. 7 out of 7
