I have bought an Android TV for my mom with dedicated buttons for Streaming platforms however mom is still finding it difficult to navigate the menus . Are we able to control the TV remotely ? I mean from Overseas? My quick internet research tells me its not possible unless i am connected to the same Wifi network. TBH in this era of smart bulbs and Robotic Vacuum cleaners which we can control from anywhere in the world, I was always under the impression that it is possible to control the Android TV remotely too. Looks like I was wrong. Please help

You could get a wifi IR blaster and use the Tuya app? Just video call to see the tv :)
This is probably the easiest option. Its like you are virtually controlling the tv

lol, Naa. I am with her since Feb ,Supported her throughout when i lost my dad in April and its time to get back to Aus. My TV teaching lessons for her seems not working but hey ,thanks everyone for the valuable suggestions .Let me see how i go

Simple answer NO. Complex answer is that there may be a custom APK's that you can side load that has what you want, but you will need to find it and ozbargain is NOT the place to ask about it.. If you do not know what side loading is then you are better not even trying.
