I have had one since it was launched, the novelty wore off pretty quickly and I don't like it as much anymore. It could be due to GAS or the fact that I'm over fold given how I mostly use the outside screen.

The next gen won’t have a huge difference to the current gen.
Fold 3 has better CPU, IP water rating, support S pen , better screen glass.
so it covers all fold 2 weakness.
most important is the RRP of fold 3 will be up to 20% less than Fold 2 RRP.
i bought one last night, but will return it within 30 days satisfy gurranty. or sell it to MMonster and buy Fold 3 :)
I am not denying the new cpu in Fold 3 is better, but the efficiency of SD865 is already overkill.
This phone is only 1049, significantly cheaper than what Fold3 is being priced.
If i don’t take the phone to swim, don’t draw by using s pen then I can save more than $1,000
To me it is more cost effective, not sure about others though.

Didn't realise this is a custom made range. I wonder why the gold hinge went OOS much earlier than the red hinge then; surely they can just have x number of Fold2s for sale and let you choose to have it painted whichever colour, if they're not already pre-painted?

I doubt it's a custom made phone. Why limit the colour gold then. They would have 100's ready to ship. From scratch it would take 1 or 2 months from Vietnam or Brazil to get here.
Chatted with Samsung - shipping will take 3 to 4 weeks. Website is also undergoing updates so some delay in update of information.

Up to 5 weeks since it is special order. How stupid to say the item is in stock but yet to even be manufactured.
Did a chat rep say it's 5 weeks? Everyone I spoke to seemed to have no clue - didn't even seem to know if there's actual stock somewhere or if they need to bring some in etc.
They really should have mentioned this at the start; if it drags on for 5 weeks then they cancel on us, the return window for any accessories etc. would've closed…
