We got the 10L deal as our first … I now wouldn't go smaller even for 1 or 2 people. The device functionality likes internal volume / surface area as the 'thing' being cooked responds well to hot air on surface area (think of your oven hot air moving around vs stewing in a pot on stove) especially if you want crunchy foods (chips, crispy pork belly, lots of party food, chicken wings or legs, pork chops, steaks, even reheat croissants in a flash). The large internal size seems to have it cope fine with a layer of veg then the protein on top.Means a true 1-pan meal. But the 10L is large in physical space it consumes on the bench. Got the 10L for the versatility. Would cook a chook easily.
