Hello everyone,
I'm looking for black leather school shoes (kids size 2), prefrably boots or velcro .Aldi have a pair for $20, but they are lace up.
A quality brand at an affordable price would be great. Mathers and Williams shoes both had or may still have 20% off, but, they were still dear. Please help : /

Thanks Geewhizz, your suggestion sounds quiet thrifty but, I don't know whether you have noticed the quality of the shoes at kmart recently (past 2 yrs). I brought my daughter a pair of dress shoes ($15). She only wore them once, but they visable wear seemed though she had wore them a dozen times. A total waste for a pair of disposable shoes.
Thanks again, $5 -$7 is affordable for a pair of school shoes even by Kmart quality standards or lack there of.
Back in the days when we were in the market for such things, really good quality school shoes used to come up a couple of times a year literally at chuck out prices …. like $5 or $7 a pair but they were brown. Nothing a bottle of shoe colour-change couldn't fix.
I don't know what the quality is like these days, but I seem to recall Bata school shoes are around $20 at Kmart.
