Hi all,
I came across this extremely juicy deal for dining chairs towards the end of the recent click frenzy in July 2021. The product was at 50% discount and somehow the system offered me 75% discount towards the end of the sale, say in the last 5 minutes.
I assume, there was a system issue on the Vendors website, and I just completed the transactions. I got an invoice for higher price (with 50% discount) but the amount that was deducted from my account was lower due to the 75% discount applied. Now, what are my options if the vendor is asking me to pay the difference, if I need the chairs or they are like take refund and cancel the order. What should be done in this case?
I am of the opinion that the vendor should respect the lower price because that was the total price quoted and the transaction was completed.
If it's genuine misprice or error, they're not required to take the loss. They are required to offer you a full refund should you wish not to pay difference.
