I guess code works on Sale Items too…
FYI QC45's due soon: https://www.theverge.com/2021/7/19/22583264/bose-quietcomfor…
Nice!
USB-C!!
Awesome…been keen to upgrade from my QC 25's. I've owned them for 4.5 year and cannot fault them. The only annoyance is the wires, and despite wired headphones having better quality sound and not requiring batteries to work, I feel the difference is not noticeable and the convenience of wireless outweighs any cons. Keen to see what improvements QC 45's bring!
Will save my 25's for my kid one day
my wired QC15 got a dodgy connection and started flipping on SIRI/Voice Control on my iPhone which drove me nuts taking 30 seconds of swiping and tapping and waiting before I could go back to what I had been listening to.
with our old QC35 this doesn't happen - the most anxiety is when a phone call comes in, and I have to tap to select the headset to be able to answer the call while wearing the headphones with built-in microphone - I think I've read the Bose are better for phonecalls than otherwise-claimed-to-be-better SONY
side-by-side last night I believe the noise-cancellation on the QC35 is better than the QC15 - which is only reasonable seeing it's 2 generations later … I expect there may be an improvement from the QC25 as well
and I have to tap to select the headset to be able to answer the call while wearing the headphones with built-in microphone
If you're meaning you have to select the headphone on the phone screen each time you answer the call:
Next time a call comes in, click the play/pause button on the headset (middle button between volume buttons) to answer the call instead, it'll automatically go through the headphones.
If you answer using the phone itself it'll route through the phone's speaker and mic, by design.
Lot's of people don't know this.Unless you mean something else..
Besides being able to re-use existing usb c cables for convenience, what's the point in paying a premium price for a qc45 though, versus buying more qc35s at a cheap price? Presumably the noise cancellation and sound quality would have to be one up , otherwise you're just paying for a different port yeah and carrrying/having one extra cable at home?
Can't wait for these to drop!
Acoustic Noise Cancelling
As opposed to non-acoustic noise? Wut?
Passive Noice Cancelling. I suppose?
This one or Apple airpods pro ?
This one by a mile.
I have both.
Bose for TV and Airpods Pro for iPhone.
Crazy good price.
Kogan still have it for $244
I would have jumped on this if I didn't already have it.
Noice cancelling is always acoustic in nature. Their USP is Active Noice Cancellation.
