why 1080p
1920 pixels were never meant to be so far apart
I went from a 1080p 24in to 1080p 27in and thought the pixelation was almost too much in some instances. Imagine how bad this would be. Steer clear for sure lads.
I have this monitor. I purchased the last refurb (most likely was ex-demo/repack) available from Acer Online just two weeks ago for $219.
I use it mainly for basic office work, study, streaming grand sumo highlights, and sneaking in the occasional episode of medium quality anime to the side. I do zero gaming on it.
From the perspective of someone short-sighted, everything seems bright and large. I run it at 165hz with the dp cable, but honestly with my poor eyesight I couldn't even notice the difference between 60, 144 or 165hz.
I recommend this monitor to people who like large icons on their desktop and those who are not offended by pixels.
I am using one of these (and one related model). Co-incidently I bought this a little while ago with delivery (sigh) - primarily as it was same form factor as my other acer.
This is a decent monitor for the price, I dont notice the pixels. I am happy wit hboth.
My daily driver is a 35" Ultrawide @ 3440x1440, however I do have this monitor as a cheapie for my secondary rig. Honestly, 1080p stretched over 31.5" isn't as bad as you'd think. For $299, this is a really good entry level option for a high refresh rate monitor.
I understand some people would rather 24" or 27" at 1080p, but don't write this one off completely.
For the price and other specs, it's really not bad.
32inch monitor but still 1080p
nahhhhhhh
