SanDisk SD Card Missing - Error Msg

Hey guys

I bought a sandisk sd card in the eBay plus sales for my android phone. I switched a bit of data to it but now I keep getting the message when I turn my phone on that the SD card is missing, insert device again The apps are also more unstable too.

It's a brand new card. There's a bit written about it on Google but no solution as of yet. Any ideas?

    Did you check if it was genuine before using?

      I didn't. But I threw an old one in and same error msg. Will check if it's authentic now tho

        If other cards are throwing the error then it might be something wrong with the reader.
        Maybe some dust got stuck in it?

    If it was bought off eBay, and not from a reputable Aussie supplier then it is 90% certain a fake

    Try to format the sd card before using it ?

    Insert an old card in SD card holder.
    Dip in 90% + isopropyl alcohol.
    Insert.
    Wiggle.
    Let dry.
    X fingies.
