I'm in Sydney Inner West area and wondering how is Felix compared to optus?
Currently using optus 80gb data plan but felix is unlimited at $35 unlimited data. I don't have home Internet so lots of data is important. 80gb is just nice for me.
How is Felix compared to Optus?
- Customer service. Optus is a bit annoying at the moment when I try to get better deals out of them before switching.
- Connection speed and reliability. I find optus drops out sometimes. Otherwise Netflix runs smooths.
- Tethering. Any issues with tethering with Felix? I have to limit tethering to TV on Optus as it seems it uses a lot of data. Felix being unlimited might not an issue but any speed issue?
Felix is terrific. I am a former customer, only switched to Vodafone because I got the 500GB/pm deal which is not much more money and uncapped speed.
Have recommended a couple of friends to Felix, both a very happy.
It all depends on your coverage but had no dramas at all with the 20mbps speed. Absolutely reliable until the great Vodafone half-day drop-out of '21 (in Melbourne a few months ago).
No speed issue with Felix, even with Netflix or Kayo.
