Samsungs new Neo QLED 8K at $2536 after taking off $500 for gift card, can also add a Samsung soundbar and get $400 cashback offer from Samsung. ie if you add a cheap one, you get it for almost nothing.

Also, I totally agree 8k at this stage is pretty much redundant due to lack of 8k content. But considering “most people” upgrade their tv every 8 to 10 years. At this price it’s probably not that ridiculous to jump in. Also, this tv is coming in cheaper than 4K version after the gift card is factored in. Also the 8k versions do some upscaling magic apparently and it has the one connect box which is good for some.

    Lol, this is the exact point I always tell people. 8K is basically a gimmick rn. A real show-off feature. 4K content is only just about become mainstream now, with most YouTube videos supporting 4K as well
