I’m thinking of getting the XBX via Telstra. Can the Game Pass Ultimate sub be applied to any account? I would like to use it for one of our kids (child account under my Microsoft account).

If you are converting your existing
Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass
membership(s), they will automatically
convert to Ultimate at a conversion
ratio.Your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate token is
included in the console box and must
be redeemed with your Microsoft
account to activate the service.Microsoft conditions of use will apply.
After the first 24 months post token
activation or when you have no
remaining months of your Game Pass
Ultimate subscription, you will roll over
to a standalone Game Pass Ultimate
Subscription at the standard in market
rate, currently $15.95 per month. Not available in conjunction with any
other offer.Yes. It is the first screen when your turn on your console for the first time.
I’ve not found a way to transfer the token to another account once activated.
Also the token doesn’t just load 24 months subscription to your kids account. It updates monthly. So if you cancel your Telstra subscription your kids account will start getting charged monthly subscription
This. Month to month, attached to the account you login and link at the time of setting up the console.
Thanks - so the Xbox has some kind of custom loading on it from Telstra? And the GPU cost is charged via Telstra billing?
I'm assuming it's ok to log in with my child's account to set up the GPU but then add my profile on the Xbox later?
Do you have multiple xboxes? If you log in on your account, add the gamepass time to your account and then set it as your 'home console', then the gamepass subscription will be shared with any accounts on that console. If you then have another console of your own you could then log into that one, but not set it as 'home' and also use your sub on that console. I have no idea what happens though if you then tried to play a game with your kid.
Ta… we have 2 Xboxes currently with 1 GPU sub (under mine) and use home console option. If we get the third Xbox, we’ll need another GPU sub.
I got the series x through Telstra & it is NOT a code you redeem. It is pre loaded onto the Xbox
Hey I really want to get this series x deal but I don't want to get a telstra plan because they're too expensive. Can I instead get a sim, activate it but then not make any calls - not get charged anything for the calls and get this xbox plan through that deal?
Others have you prob have to activate SIM for first month then cancel BUT remainder must be paid on the month-by-month 23 month remaining ;-
Your Xbox All Access subscription >provides month-to-month access >to Game Pass Ultimate, and will >auto-renew every month you stay >connected to Xbox All Access up >to 24 months.
After the first 24 months, you will >roll over to a standalone Xbox >Game Pass Ultimate subscription >at the standard in market rate, >currently $15.95 per month. If you >cancel Xbox All Access, you will >need to pay out the balance >remaining on your console, which >will be charged as a once-off >payment in your next Telstra bill.
Your subscription access will end >at the end of that billing month. >Find out more about Early >Termination Charges
Yeah I found the way it works to be a bit confusing at first. When I got it and logged in, there was nothing to indicate I had a 24 month subscription to GPU. I even called up Telstra support who knew nothing about how it works.
But in the settings there is a section called "Included with this Xbox" which inside had what looks like a free 1 month trial of GPU .. turns out this is the included subscription and when activated it automatically continues at no charge to you for 24 months.
Do Telstra have these in stock? How long did it take to be delivered?
Seems SO you might be better to activate Chat in the Telstra website to ask but relevant bits seem to imply that the Token is activated by you - presume means you just go into child's account to activate there :-
